The core work of the ACWA Platform focuses on cities and city regions to address their water risks and vulnerabilities through research, planning, spatial analysis, technical assistance knowledge sharing, and partnerships for collective action. The primary target audience is the local government. This can be a single administrative unit, such as a single Metro, or a conglomeration of municipalities that make up a city region.

Step 2: Review completed action plans
Step 3: Submit a letter of interest
The letter of interest should:
A) Be signed by a senior executive in the city government
B) Self-identify the water risks you are facing in your letter of interest (sample letter template provided below)
C) Be familiar with the city selection criteria
D) Identify a City Point of Contact for coordination purposes
