ACWA Platform launch with partners at the Multilevel Action Pavilion at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt

Get Involved - The ACWA Platform is a coalition of cities and partners including research institutes, civil society actors, development agencies, national governments, businesses, private sector investment groups, national banks, professional consultancies and associations joining forces to advance urban water resilience in Africa.

If you are interested in getting involved, please fill out the “Get Involved” interest form for your organization and indicate your preference from the 4 main types of partners the ACWA Platform is looking for.

There are 4 main types of partners we are looking for:

  1. Technical partner = will provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to identify, design, finance and implement innovative solutions and leverage collective action to improve the enabling environment for mature water resilience programs.
  2. Dialogue partners = are those who are only able to identify a key point of contact at senior manager level who will commit to represent the organization in the monthly forums organized by the platform.
  3. City Partners = will be the point of contact for their city region to work with the coalition of partners to address the city’s specific water risks and vulnerabilities by sharing data, coordinating with key stakeholders, and more.
  4. Fund Partners = support various components of urban water resilience through the ACWA Fund, the key funding and financing instrument of the platform.
